I admit to being addicted to apps on my iPhone and iPad; they make ‘things’ so much more interesting and interactive (like photography, boring train journeys, books, gaming, reading, video, etc).
Some of them have been helpful in some kind of learning and teaching environment, some have not. Some are just for plain fun and I wanted to share it with you, some have no purpose other than to waste time.
Here are some of my favourite ones:
Augmented Reality / QR Codes
Books / eBooks
- Future of Technology in Education
- Heuristic Shakespeare – The Tempest
- Photowall from Chromecast
- Turnitin & Grade Anywhere
- VideoScribe HD
PS. I will not be posting about Angry B*rds or other ‘popular’ apps – as everyone has those apps installed it’s not going to be very interesting having yet another blogger writing about it!
