		<description>I think that it&#039;s helpful to point students to four properties that are 
not typically present in normal face to face interactions: persistence, 
searchability, exact copyability, and invisible audiences ( see Danah 
Boyd&#039;s work). I&#039;ve heard and used the analogy of being in a park. If you
 say something unfortunate to somebody in the playground, it&#039;s unlikely 
that your words will be stored, found and replicated by someone who 
wasn&#039;t even there.
