Seven Habits of Highly Connected People

“The first thing any connected person should be is receptive. Whether on a discussion forum, mailing list, or in a blogging community or gaming site, it is important to spend some time listening and getting the lay of the land.”

‘Seven Habits of Highly Connected People’

  1. Be reactive
  2. Go with the flow
  3. Connection comes first
  4. Share
  5. RTFM – ‘Read the F*****g Manual’
  6. Cooperate
  7. Be yourself

    Very inspirational!
    I like the succinct style, but if you want to make a highly published author, you need to write another 300 pages on these habits (you can use this as your Contents page ;-> )
    Does the order matter?
    Here is my variation on the theme of the 7 habits:
    1. ~1 Be R (not ‘beer’, but Responsive, reactive, re…)
    2. =2 Go with the flow (but be ‘ware of the time-killing power of the currents)
    3. =4+6: Share & collaborate
    4. New! ‘Spring clean’ the e-flotsam & jetsam
    5. =3 Connection comes first (battery life also matters)
    6. =5 RTFM (Loved this one ;-) )
    7. ~3 If you do all of the above, just be your self :->
