Just when I wanted to the PC off I found this post on another blog: “Social Media Marketing and the Millennial Generation”.
This is an extremely thought provoking piece (if you can ignore the overly US-biased YouTube video), but at it’s heart is the simple fact that I tried to get to in my last post this morning … Generation Y is soon to be the most influential and the largest single generation with the power to make or break Governments.
“‘WE’ are politically, socially, and philosophically independent, and are spearheading a period of sweeping change in America and around the world.”
It would be fair to say to anyone in any sort of authority that to ignore this power-base is to be done at your own peril.
