Award for Outstanding Contributions to Student Learning

Bournemouth UniversityMany thanks to those who suggested and backed our submission and subsequent approval for the award for Innovative Learning at Bournemouth University at the recent ‘Awards for Outstanding Contributions to Student Learning’.

I was joined in collecting the award last night, for the ‘Online Delivery Team’, by my colleagues Lianne and Karen who also work on the Business Schools fully-online programmes for the undergraduate degree in International Business and Marketing.

The award was given to us by Vice-Chancellor Professor Paul Curran who congratulated us for our “commitment to enhancing undergraduate studies … and the online delivery for mature professional part-time students.”

I’m not one to usually blow my own trumpet, but this is the first award I’ve received for my work, so I’m naturally going to shout about it. Here I go … “I GOT IT!”
